Who we are

Offyield ("Offyield", "we", "us") is a product of Offyield LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Offyield provides a non-custodial software interface to smart contracts deployed on Robinhood Chain. We do not take custody of your funds, hold your private keys, or operate as a bank.

You use Offyield without an account

Using the Offyield app requires no sign-up, no email, and no name. You interact with the smart contracts directly from your own self-custodial wallet. Because there is no account, there is no account profile for us to build, store, or lose.

• We do not require your name, email address, phone number, or government identity to use the app. If you buy a card, the details the card provider needs pass through our server to that provider; Offyield never stores your email or name, and keeps only the short cashback record described below.
• We do not run advertising or behavioral-tracking pixels, and we do not sell or rent personal data — ever.
• We cannot access your wallet, your seed phrase, or your private keys, and we never ask for them.

Information involved when you use the app

A small amount of data is unavoidably involved in delivering a web app that reads a public blockchain:

• Public on-chain data. Your wallet address and its transactions are public on Robinhood Chain by nature. When you connect a wallet, the app reads your address and on-chain position through blockchain RPC endpoints to display your balances. This data lives on a public ledger we do not control and cannot alter or delete.
• Technical delivery data. Like any website, our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure processes basic request metadata (such as IP address, timestamp, and browser type) to serve pages and protect against abuse. This is standard server logging, not profiling.
• Local storage. The app may store small amounts of data in your browser (for example, interface state) so it works correctly. This is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
• Card cashback records. Every prepaid card bought through the app earns 5% cashback in USDG, which we pay by hand once the card is delivered. To do that, our server keeps one record per card in a database run by Upstash, our database provider: your wallet address, the card reference shown to you (OFY-…), the card provider’s order id, the card brand, its value and storefront country, the order and delivery dates, the cashback status (and, if we decline it, our reason), and the transaction that paid it. Your email address and name are still never stored. A record is deleted 30 days after the cashback is paid or declined (an unpaid card’s record after 90 days). Only each payout transaction’s hash (public on the chain anyway) and the card reference it paid are kept longer, so one payment can never be counted twice. Our team can see these records only after signing in with a team wallet and a one-time code, and every time a full wallet address is shown to us it is logged. That activity log (sign-ins, and which card references were paid, declined or had their wallet shown; never the wallet itself or a decline reason) is kept for 90 days.

Third-party services

Offyield relies on a few third parties to function. Each has its own privacy practices, and where they receive data (such as your IP address) they act as independent controllers or as our processors:

• Hosting and content delivery — serve the website and process request logs for delivery and security.
• Database (Upstash) — stores the card cashback records and the team activity log described above, as our processor.
• Blockchain RPC providers — endpoints for Robinhood Chain that receive your requests when the app reads or submits on-chain data.
• Wallet providers — the self-custodial wallet you choose (for example, a browser wallet) is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
• Font delivery — a third-party font service may receive your IP address in order to serve typefaces.
• Card provider (buying a prepaid card or gift card). When you buy one, the app sends the card you chose, its value, the storefront country, the delivery email, the card holder name where the card issuer requires one, and your wallet address to Offyield’s server, which passes them to the card provider, CryptoRefills, together with your IP address as CryptoRefills requires, so it can create and deliver your order. Offyield does not store the delivery email or the card holder name; it keeps only the cashback record described above. CryptoRefills handles these details under its own privacy policy. CryptoRefills pays Offyield a commission on card orders.
• Card issuing partner (future). When the Offyield card becomes available, identity verification (KYC) will be performed by a regulated third-party card issuer under its own privacy policy and legal obligations. Offyield does not carry out that verification, and any identity documents you provide for a card are handled by that partner, not stored by Offyield as part of the app.

How the data is used

The limited data described above is used only to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the app, and to comply with applicable law. It is not used for advertising, and it is not sold.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share the limited data described above only with the service providers listed above so the app can function, and where we are legally required to do so (for example, in response to a valid legal request), or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.

Security

We design the app to minimize the data at stake — the strongest protection is not collecting information in the first place. We apply reasonable technical measures to the systems we control. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and the security of your funds ultimately depends on you keeping your wallet and private keys safe. We can never recover a lost key or reverse an on-chain transaction.

Your choices and rights

Because we hold little or no personal data about you, there is usually nothing tied to an identity for us to retrieve or erase. Where applicable data-protection law gives you rights over any personal data we do process, you may contact us at team@offyield.com to exercise them, and we will respond as required by law.

Eligibility and international use

Offyield is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and who are not located in, or residents of, any jurisdiction where use of the app is prohibited or restricted, and who are not subject to applicable sanctions. The app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here; your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
